Having graduated UCL with a BA French with Film Studies (hons) and a MA Ethnographic and Documentary Filmmaking (distinction), Kyoka is now a London based camera trainee. This year, she trainee-ed on Apple TV, Amazon Prime, and ITV's long form projects (TBA). In her short form work, Kyoka has 2nd AC-ed on commercials such as for Arsenal FC and Man City FC. Being bilingual in Japanese and English, she is also an on-set translator, namely for feature films 10 DANCE (Otomo, 2025) and TOUCH (Kormákur, 2024). Her translation work also extends to working with KIRIN, NODA MAP (野田地図), and the YOASOBI crew at Wembley Arena. Her attentiveness, calm, and attention to detail in all lines of work accumulate towards building on her artistry and craft of the visual medium with intentions of becoming a DP.
